Hey there! I’m Jenny à La Mode.

I am a digital artist and illustrator. My work is inspired by my childhood in 80s and 90s Southern California, my Japanese and Chinese heritage, playing with Barbie and My Little Ponies and of course all things "kawaii”! I currently reside in Paris, France, with my adorable kitty and creative muse or shall I say “mews”, Zippy Mc Lovin.

My love for art began when I was little, spending countless afternoons with my grandmother who taught me how to draw and watercolor. This led me to pursue a career in and earn my degree in Painting and Art History from Boston University.

After graduating, I moved to New York City, where I worked as a painter for the Japanese pop-artist Takashi Murakami. During my time at his studio, I was able to hone my technical skills, including smooth lines and intricate detailsand developed an appreciation for fun and vibrant color palettes and combinations.

I'm find inspiration by digging through the fleamarkets of Paris for vintage inspiration! I can never get enough of groovy old books, magazines, and packaging from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. I love visiting a good art exhibit or museum and exploring the artistic intricacies of Japanese woodblock prints and Art Nouveau's organic lines.

a book about sensual  poses and tips. I enjoyed this project because there was clear direction but also a lot of artistic freedom. I got to play with different, colors, and shapes to create a sexy and playful cover that matched the tone of the book.

a brand that sells clean beauty products. I loved this project because I got to create cute and whimsical illustrations of animals, plants, and fruits that represented the brand’s values and products. I also had fun with the slogans and messages that went along with the designs.

a digital media company that produces podcasts, videos, and articles about cannabis culture and lifestyle. I had a blast with this project because I got to draw different characters and scenarios that showcased the diversity and humor of the cannabis community.

Arcana Sacre

fun fact: I’m proud of my Japanese and Chinese heritage, which influences my art and style.
  • Women’s fashion, cosmetic, or wellness brands that want to add some flair and personality to their products or marketing materials.

  • Skate or snowboard brands that need some cool and edgy designs for their boards or apparel. I’m not a skater or surfer myself, but I did design a skate and snowboard for a friend once and had a lot of fun doing it.

  • Music-related projects like album covers, posters, flyers, or merchandise for bands or artists.

FYI, I’m not the best fit for anything weddings, bachelorette parties, babies, kids and personal commissions. These aren't not my cup of tea.
